The only prerequisite subject for 6.300 is 6.100A
(Introduction to Computer Science Programming in Python).
However, we expect that you are facile with algebra (including the
use of complex numbers) and that you are comfortable working with
exponential functions of continuous time t (such as e^{at}) and
geometric functions of discrete time n (such as b^n).
This problem set illustrates the level of mathematical preparation that
will be needed for 6.300.
If you have difficulty with any of the following problems,
please discuss with a staff member at office hours.
